On behalf of the entire engineering team here at RottenTomatoes.com, I'm proud to announce the launch of our first ever public API!

The RottenTomatoes.com API allows developers to access the industry's most trusted metric for movie freshness - the tomatometer -- for our entire catalog of movies.  To get things started, we're publishing our most requested APIs for movies and tomatometer scores in RESTful JSON format.  Access top box office movies, cult classics or anything in between -- and help movie fans discover great movies.

We're excited to see what you'll build with our APIs. Register, hack, and let us know what you'd love to see next - we're eager to hear your feedback.
