   Hi,
   
   I've noticed that no synopsis is being returned for some movies, for example:
   
   search: http://api.rottentomatoes.com/api/public/v1.0/movies.json?q=The+Dark+Knight&apikey={api_key}
   
   movie info: http://api.rottentomatoes.com/api/public/v1.0/movies/769959054.json?apikey={api_key}

   Hi fatal and superpea,
   We recently discovered that we did not have the rights to distribute the movie synopses for certain movies. We are working on possible solutions. For now, only the more recent movies will have synopses.

   Hi.

   I know this thread is 5 months old but I'd like to add my voice to those wanting the Synopsis data on all films. OK I can see that might be a tall order, so in the mean time is there any way of getting the "MOVIE INFO" where available?

   For example, Pulp Fiction has no synopsis but a passable MOVIE INFO section just below... however I can't see a way of accessing this by json... or am I missing it?

   I agree. The Movie Info would be a great alternative
