Are this API and the feeds it serve being maintained at all?
I see more or less the very same movies, with an additional documentary or foreign movie added every now and then, but I keep seeing a lot of other interesting movies out there that do not make it to any of the lists in the API.
Hey DannyBens,
What are you seeing that is old or stale? Movies don't come out every day, so you should see updates, I think about once a week.
Do you have any examples of other interesting movies that you would expect to see in the lists, but aren't?
I guess it is a combination of things that led me to asking, and maybe a difference in regional / personal preferences. It is more of a vibe I get.
1. The forum seems too quiet. I would assume movies and movies API would render a lot more discussions
2. The forum does not seem to be maintained or evolving - for example, the fact that it does not remember the password on login is an overdue bug in my opinion. This is a default browser behavior for password input fields that somehow does not work here.
3. The presence of all the less significant (to me) documentary and foreign movies makes me feel like I am browsing an less mainstream list of movies. I admit, this might be a problem on my part.
4. Whenever I visit other movie sites I always find movies that are not served by RT - examples can be found here
http://www.comingsoon.net/
http://www.blockbuster.com/
http://trailers.apple.com/
Just take a look at their promoted videos - a lot of them are not served by RT's API. Maybe it is only a matter of ordering the movies list, I don't know.

Is this abandoned?
