API for Celebrity Search/Info

  1. Its a common use case that a user would like to know more about the cast in a movie, their profile, bio, and also try to look up other good movies they have acted in. It would be great if we could have some API for this.

    I would like this one too! Would be great if it had cast info to be able to pull filmagraphy for the person. It is actually really hard to get an actors filmography right now. Wikipedia has so many different ways of storing it and netflix is many times missing movies.

    Just signed up for the API. I am disappointed there is no way (yet?) to search for a celebrity. Please let me (us) know when this changes.

    I'd like to put my vote in for this feature. It could be very powerful for users to find movies with their favorite actors!

    I get the feeling this functionality was left out on purpose. Guess I'll have to use IMDB's API for my app.
